Race details and request for helpers.
Appeal for volunteers
Athlon CC and ourselves will be sharing responsibilities for volunteer helpers over the two races this year, but there will still be a number of wide ranging volunteer roles to be filed by Maldon club members. The required roles will range from things like roadside marshalling, assisting with lapboard / bell at the finish, and staffing the sign on desk, to operating within the race convoy itself as either an official’s driver or ‘in car’ radio operator / note taker.
Although the morning and afternoon races are promoted by different clubs (Maldon Race is the afternoon), we are, for the sake of consistency over the day, trying to stick with the same support crew for both races. Therefore, both Athlon and Maldon members will provide some support to each other’s race.
