MADCC Chain Gangs will start Thursday 6th May from Beckingham business park in Tolleshunt Major. Leaving at 19:00 prompt. For 19th August 19th the ride will leave 18:45 prompt and for 26th August 18:30 prompt. Riders are welcome to join on the second lap if they cannot make the start.
The ride will involve 3 or 4 laps (depending on weather, number of riders and general motivation levels) of the 6 mile circuit.
Rules:
- No more than 8 riders per group – (this is so traffic can still pass one line of riders). Multiple groups are welcome.
- Each rider takes a turn (around 30 seconds) on the front before moving to the back of the group when safe to do so.
- First lap is a no drop lap – this is until riders pass the Tolleshunt major village sign for the first time. After the first lap riders will be dropped from the group.
- The last lap is ‘everyone for themselves’ with the finish line at the Tolleshunt Major village sign, shortly before arriving back at the business park.
- Please be aware of and respect other road users. Horses have been seen on the course, remember to slow down and allow all riders to pass safely.
