The introductory led rides aim is to get more people of all ages and abilities out on their bikes - and that means you!

Cycling is already one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and with our encouragement we want to help people understand the thrill of getting back in the saddle. We want to get more people healthier, fitter and happier.

Our introductory led rides are small group cycle rides designed to get everyone cycling regularly in a fun and informal way. These are rides, led by British Cycling & CTC trained ride leaders, who will guide participants along the route, and provide tips and advice on cycle safety and skills. Rides vary in levels, from beginners to more experienced cyclists, so you can pick a level to suit your skills and enjoyment. Whatever level you choose, you'll be riding on safe routes, with your ride leaders.

And if you haven't dusted off your bike for a while, they'll happily check it over for you. A introductory led ride is about as much fun as you can have on two wheels. But groups are limited, so you have to register.

The club organisies or helps with a number of lead rides during the year, typically during the summer months and these will be advertised on these pages.
