If you though all our club records were now out of reach, think again! New conscript Darren Frostick knocked out a "25" time of 52.20 in the Lea Valley "25" on the E2 on Saturday afternoon (subject to confirmation), shaving 25 seconds off anything on our record books. More news on this as it comes in.

 This was not the only personal best ride of the day as Mike Tyas, riding the Birdwell Wheelers "10" in South Yorkshire took several seconds off his previous best to record 24.54.

 

After a couple of weeks to recover from his exploits at the Mildenhall Rally, Sam Connolley rode in the GHS Final at Alcester, Warwickshire (13th September 2009).

This year saw just a small contingent of members attend the Duo Normand with only one solitary team made up of Neil Chapman and Stevie Saunders (API). After a smooth crossing from Portsmouth to Caen the group arrived in Marigny and were duly greeted by their host Simone Dupont.

The 2009 SPOCO South East Series is complete and we had 2 members ride enough events to qualify for the overall competiton. Paul Sexton finished 19th overall with 582 points, and Andy Sheridan finished 27th with 507 points. The series winner was PCA Ciclos Uno's Paul Smith with 720 points. Special congratulations to Hamish Hore who won the Junior competition and gets the trophy for a year!
