22.28 was the winning time by Scott Cousins in the Team Cambridge open 10 (16/10/11) Held on what was a slow and rough surfaced course near Cambridge Scott took yet another victory winning by over a minute to Mark Arnold (23.32). 


Still training hard in preparation for next weeks club road race Scott Cousins is still racing hard, but this time it wasn't a road race but a time trial. The Lea Valley open 30mile TT was held on the E1, a rolling but a fast course on the right day. Scott won the event with a time of 1.06.46 averaging a speed of 29mph on the outward leg but with the wind getting up he had it in his face all the way back to the finishing line. Winning by appox 35 seconds to 2nd place rider Sam Baker (planet x) He was heard to say "I wanted to get back as fast as possible before all the bacon sandwiches had gone." 


Two club record's were set  on the E2 course near to Newmarket.The first was by Darren Frostick who rode a great 100 in a time of 3.55.55 to take over 10 minutes off the old record set by Mick Gibson in 1984.  The second record was set (even with a puncture in the last 5 miles) by Peter Hardiman who beat the 1984 over 50's record (4.24.36) set by John Phillpott. Peter recorded a time of  4:16:32. Darren moved the "50" up a notch in the Shaftesbury event a week later with 1.49.44!
