The club 100 Mile Autumn Reliability Trial was once again another popular event with 18 riders taking part on Sunday 6th September 2015.

There were 5 riders in the slower group (10 hour time limit), 2 riders in the middle group (9 hour time limit) and 11 riders in the fast group (8 hour time limit).

The new route for this years ride proved to be popular with the riders. The two new cafe stops were also another positive. The weather also played its part by being dry, sunny and quite mild.

Well done to all who took part in the event.  In particular, well done junior club member Harry Wood who completed his first 100 mile ride.

Unfortunately Alex Ratter and Allman Fowler were involved in a bizarre crash involving a dropped banana (no I have not made that bit up). Alex suffered a deep cut to his knee but soldiered on to the finish. Allman found himself in a ditch with a damaged wheel. Fortunately for Allman, Barry Denny (Owner of the Maglia Rosa Cafe/Bike Shop) provided a replacement wheel so that Allman could finish the ride. Thankfully no serious injuries.

Special thanks to Chris Ridley for once again organising the reliability trial.
