Congratulations to Tim Savage who took the win at the Chelmer Road Challenge which took place on Sunday 5th April.

Good course preparation helped Tim achieve todays win having ridden the course 5 times in 10 days. The race went at a good pace which meant none of the breakaway attempts ever got more than a few seconds on the peloton.  In the end it came down to a bunch sprint and two Strada riders lead the way from a distance out from the finish line.  Tim waited for his moment and in 4th wheel and 300m to go, decided it was time to go for the line. As the photos show it was a well timed finish as Tim took the win with a few bike lengths to spare.

The points that accompanied the win also mean that Tim is now a Cat 3.  Well done, great effort!
