The September Corfu tour enjoyed fabulous weather – apart from the first days thunderstorm where we made a stupid error by sheltering in a bar that was closed!

We found some new routes, enjoyed our old routes and didn’t get too lost.  It was great to show Chips and Tammy around the island and they took some great photo’s with the Albanian mountains in the background.

On Monday we welcomed Andrew from Yorkshire to our group who was used to the hills and wanted to try the Pantokrator challenge with us. 917m in height and a total days climb of 1,660m, it was a great achievement with amazing views over the whole island and across to mainland Greece.

Graham and Colin went home on the Friday but the rest of us carried on cycling to Kassiopi, Ipsos, Paleokastritsa, Sidari and Doukades – we pedalled up and down ‘em all.  In fact we climbed nearly the equivalent of Everest in the two weeks (26,500ft) so that’s a new record to aim for next May?

Please phone if you are interested in joining us for one or two weeks, we already have 11 people booked.
