Please see "Read more" for some important notices about club time trials this season.

As per previous years, riders are being asked to submit a registration document in order to ride in club time trials. This is simply to ensure that the club has up to date and legible contact details for everyone riding. It will also make signing on faster as there will be no need to fill in the emergency phone number details every time. The information required is almost identical to that required for entering open time trials. Please print off the accompanying form and bring it with you to signing on at your first club event. If you don’t have it, you will have to fill one out before signing on. There is a link below to the Marshalling and Timekeeper rota for the 10TT and 25TT events this year. If you are able to fill any of the vacant slots then please get in touch with Colin ASAP.

All forms are included at the back of the 2018 Club Handbook.

The CTT club event levy has remained the same as 2017, so the entry fees for club time trials this year will again be £3.50 for seniors & £2.50 for younger riders (up to & including year of 18th birthday).

The club would like to build a pool of club members who would be willing to assist with the timekeeping on an occasional basis. It is felt that if the club could build a reasonable pool of people then a sensible rota system could be established to make sure that we have enough timekeepers for the events to go ahead. This would also relieve the pressure on the main timekeepers who we rely on heavily. Also this would enable club TT events to keep going if our usual timekeepers cannot be present (eg holidays, illness etc). If you feel that, with appropriate training and practice, you would be willing and able to support this, please mention it to a committee member.

Changes to CTT insurance coverage means that guest riders who do not belong to CTT affiliated clubs are only covered for three rides, after which time they will have to become members of a CTT affiliated club in order to be allowed to participate.
